“What if Our Universe & the Dream World Are the Same Thing?…” My Thoughts About Why We Dream at Night (Part II of II)

This is the second & final part of my blog series that explains why we have dreams. Using an analogy of a glass jar to represent our body, I explain that consciousness is contained by each of our glass jars, but that the jars aren’t always closed, which results in many different scenarios for our consciousness, including having “dreams.”

This is Part I of a three-part short story series that takes place in Paris, 1857, and is about a young artist who receives a letter from the friend of a former client, and agrees to meet his correspondent for dinner to discuss a job opportunity about painting the portrait of a mysterious, ‘ugly’ woman.
