This is Part I of a three-part short story series that takes place in Paris, 1857, and is about a young artist who receives a letter from the friend of a former client, and agrees to meet his correspondent for dinner to discuss a job opportunity about painting the portrait of a mysterious, ‘ugly’ woman.

The final short story in this series, Part II is about Lexi and her “twin flame” Jamal deciding to take a powerful psychedelic drug that allows their souls to travel back in time to their recent past life when they were brother and sister in an Amazonian tribe. Then their souls continue their journey beyond time and space and they end up in a whole other universe outside of our own.

This is Part I of a two-part, short story series, where a young woman named Lexi receives a text message from an unknown number, inviting her to attend an art show in Brooklyn happening that evening. She decides to attend the show and meets a man named Jamal who restores a special power that she lost long ago and tells her that he was her brother in a past life. They reconnect and end up having one of best nights of their life.

My Recent Austin Trip, a.k.a. “The Time I Disliked My Yoga Teacher, Saw a Weird Alien Creature & Thought I Walked into a Rave”

Welcome to my first blog post! I discuss a road trip that my friend and I took to Austin, TX, to see Borns in concert. Then we did yoga the next day, saw an alien creature and thought we had stumbled across a rave, but was something better.
